Carr Engineering, Inc. is a remote-first company and searching for a Business Development Representative to join our VolunteerHub business unit. VolunteerHub is a SaaS volunteer management system serving the nonprofit community.

Whether you are undertaking lead generation efforts or making connections with prospects, this position provides you with the opportunity to develop and strengthen your sales and communication skills. This is a role to enter or continue in the software sales market and build valuable experience while assisting nonprofits in their missions.

Currently, we’re considering remote candidates who reside in Eastern, Central, and Mountain time zones.

Responsibilities

  • Building a sales pipeline, outbound prospecting, and cold calling
  • Maintain CRM database of sales activities and notes
  • Collaboration with the sales team to ensure company growth

Qualifications

  • 1+ year(s) in Software Sales or SaaS Sales
  • Comfortable using a variety of technology tools
  • Previous sales-related experience, training or education
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to solve business problems with technology
  • Desire to continuously improve professionally
  • Experience working directly or as a volunteer with nonprofit organizations is a plus
